To all those who pass judgement.

I came across this verse which I though was rather interesting after reading all the judgement that is passed on various blogs on men and woman who are preaching and do not conform to a particular narrow theological piont of veiw

Paul Says the following in 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 "So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God".

A freind of mine as also written a great article on his blog in this regard and you can find the post at the following link: http://planetholmes.blogspot.com/2007/12/devil-wears-prada-so-have-you-seen.html

  1. It's a good verse to remember.

  2. Thanks for this post.

I can understand what you're saying. I tire of reading things written against various people who are preaching Jesus. I want to spend my time encouraging and putting out the Word, not putting down someone else who isn't doing it just my way. We all reach different people because of how God made us; it always seems to me that He purposely has us all doing things differently.
